Series Publisher: Polish Information Processing Society

About

The ACSIS is an online journal-style series reporting theoretical and applied research results in computer science and information systems. The series publishes contributions in a broad area that crosses the boundaries between science (including social science), engineering and management. It accepts publications resulting from the commercial market, as long as the discussed industrial problems stimulate the related sciences and can impact the engineering profession.

The ACSIS originated from a perceived need to establish continuity of electronic presence of volumes resulting from the FedCSIS (Federated Computer Science and Information Systems; www.fedcsis.org) conference series. As a result of agreements between the Polish Information Processig Society and the IEEE, Proceedings of the FedCSIS conference series are published under a joint copyright and become also a part of the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

Timely electronic publication of rigorously reviewed conference proceedings is an important, but not the only, type of material published by the ACSIS. Some other possibilities include post-conference thematic volumes (consisting of papers revised and extended by at least 30%), research reports of large projects, invited monographs, special editions on hot topics in computer science and information systems, etc.

ACSIS is indexed in Web of Science, SCOPUS, DBLP, CrossRef, BazEkon, Open Access Library, Index Copernicus, AcademicKeys, PBN, ARIANTE and has started the process of abstracting/indexing its content in more.
