Abstract. This paper describes flipped Computer Science (CS) classes. Introduction brings review of literature followed by detailed information about idea of flipped classroom (FC). Later classes in CS in Civil Engineering are presented. Next part of the paper gives detailed information about a survey concerning FC. Last part of the paper shows results of the survey and compares them with results of similar surveys conducted in United States and Canada. Final remarks show, that it is very difficult to motivate digital natives to learn.
