Abstract. Digital agriculture increasingly depends on cross-organizational data sharing, yet many agricultural actors remain reluctant to disclose data because they lack enforceable control over how individual data elements are exposed. Existing governance and interoperability initiatives provide important foundations, but they do not sufficiently address the runtime enforcement of fine-grained disclosure decisions in practical machine-to-machine exchanges. This paper presents FarmTrustee, a finest-grained filter service for the agricultural data space. Building on a Finest-Grained Attribute-based Policy Machine (FisGAP), FarmTrustee extends attribute-based control to digit-level disclosure and applies policy-driven transformations to outgoing JSON payloads. Rather than merely deciding whether a field is visible, the service can suppress, generalize, reduce, or partially reveal values such as stock levels, timestamps, and geocoordinates. FarmTrustee is implemented as a Policy Decision Point and Policy Enforcement Point pair embedded in a synchronization pipeline. The approach is demonstrated in the MIRO project and integrated into a data platform for synchronization between Farm Management Information Systems and external systems such as webshops and reporting interfaces. Initial prototype results indicate that the approach can preserve data sovereignty and support data minimization while introducing only limited operational overhead. FarmTrustee therefore provides a practical runtime mechanism that connects data space governance with enforceable disclosure control.
